Best MCP Servers (2026): Picks by Use Case
Selection criteria
A server is on this page when the official MCP Registry namespace is the vendor's (a domain they verified, or their GitHub organization) or when it is a reference server from the modelcontextprotocol/servers repository or Microsoft MarkItDown. Unofficial wrappers are not listed under the vendor's name. Inside each category the order is alphabetical. The category is the use case filed on the listing. This is not a popularity ranking and not a paid ranking.
No sponsored placements are running. Sponsorship would be labelled and would not change this order.
